ROCK HOUND TOURS
Our first big trip of the year will be in May on Memorial Day weekend Sunday. We will be heading into Tennessee to go to our favorite BLUE TOPAZ outcrop. Just like last year, this will be a half day trip. We will be leaving the mine at 8AM and returning around 1PM. We are posting this trip early because of the limited availability, this trip fills up fast so call and RSVP ASAP. Pricing for this trip will be around $30 to $40 per person attending. children under 12 are free as usual with paid adult. We are still negotiating with the land owners as to total cost per person and will know a more accurate price around April.Hope to see you there!
Summer Tour Times;
Summer tours go out 7 days a week, Rain or shine. Peak season is from May through October and there are two 'one hour' time slots every Saturday and Sunday. Doc will also schedule special time slots for larger groups upon request (if scheduled at least two weeks in advance).
Winter trips; If you would like to schedule an outing during cooler weather (November through April), we need at least two weeks notice and outings are on Sundays at 10:am only.
Cost;
All winter tours cost $25.00 per person attending.
Outings must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
